Ring Controller with Smart Charging Case for Augmented Reality Applications

A compact, wearable controller designed for intuitive interaction in AR environments.
Built around the nRF52840 BLE SoC, it integrates multiple input and feedback features:

  • 6-axis IMU for motion and gesture detection

  • Custom capacitive touchpad for swipe and tap input

  • Force sensor for detecting press gestures

  • Piezo haptic driver for tactile feedback

  • Battery management system with protection circuitry and magnetic charging pads

The charging case includes embedded electronics for device detection and communication, as well as a hall sensor for lid position sensing.

Powered by the nRF52832 BLE SoC, the controller integrates multiple sensing and feedback features:

  • 6-axis IMU and a magnetometer

  • Custom touchpad with integrated button

  • LRA haptic driver for tactile feedback

  • Capacitive sensors for grip and chirality (left/right hand) detection

  • Hall-effect trigger sensor for analog input

  • LEDs for optical tracking support

Test Board for Flipper Zero power system validation

A dedicated test board developed for EVT (Engineering Validation Test) of the power management system in the Flipper Zero device.

Key components include:

  • Charger PMIC

  • Fuel Gauge IC

A compact 3DoF handheld controller built around the nRF52832 BLE SoC, designed for low-power, wireless VR interaction.
The device operates on two AAA batteries and integrates the following components:

  • 6-axis IMU for motion tracking

  • Custom touchpad with integrated button for intuitive input

  • NFC interface for quick pairing and device identification

  • Power-efficient architecture optimized for extended battery life

An earlier version of this controller
was mass-produced in tens of thousands of units and bundled with the HTC Vive Focus headset as part of the Vive Wave ecosystem for the Chinese VR market.

Orber Selfie Drone

A compact selfie drone capable of carrying a smartphone, featuring a unique tracking system and an intuitive point-and-drag control interface. Takeoff and following a beacon in the controller is achieved with a single button press.

I was responsible for electronics design, PCB development, and mechanical construction, as well as contributing significantly to firmware development and debugging on the nRF52840 SoCs.
